New Watercut XS

More precise, compact and equipped

Since 2003, Watercut cutters move the pie leaving the water jet stationary. This is still a good working principle for making robust and reliable machines with disinfectable draining. They are economical to buy and to maintain. However, confectioners who want extraordinary precision, or manufacture very delicate, very light, not very rigid products, or they seek the maximum possible speed, they find in this principle of work a small limitation.

A new concept
Four working modes

FIXED mode: The water jet moves in an area of 30 x 40 cm, where you can cut without moving the product. In addition, the tray has a displacement of 30 cm, so we can cut small chocolate decorations in half tray, then the tray will move smoothly 30 cm and the remaining half tray will be cut. Other combinations are also possible, such as 3 x 20 cm...

FAST mode: Tray and water jet movements are combined. Accelerations are shared among them. Less acceleration in the tray means you can increase the actual acceleration of the jet and cut faster. If the cakes are less than 60 x 40 cm, then the movement of the tray is reduced even to less than half.

SMOOTH mode: Every product placed on the tray has a limit of acceleration bearable. If we pass that limit the product can move in the tray, but if we stay below that limit then the water jet can perform some movements with very high accelerations. The Watercut XS limits the acceleration suffered by the tray to a value that makes the product does not move on the tray, and transfers most of the acceleration to the movement of the jet, achieving cutting speeds equal to that which would have if the tray be still

XY mode: This is a demonstration mode in which the tray moves in one direction and the water jet moves only in a line perpendicular to the movement of the tray. It serves to evaluate effectively the benefits of the three previous modes.
